Daniel Murillo
Daniel Murillo, a young comedian and screenwriter from Sorocaba, in the interior of São Paulo, began his career in the São Paulo stand-up scene in 2009, performing in the city's bars, a space that gave rise to many big names in contemporary humor.
In his show, his trademark is the ability to bring to life the most unusual situations we experience daily, with his nonsensical , peculiar, and sharply realistic view of the absurdities we encounter in our everyday lives. From marriage to where we go after death, the comedian cracks jokes about everything he observes. On stage, in addition to his original stand-up material created throughout his training as a comedian, Daniel Murillo uses unpredictable improvisation performances with the audience.
Since then, he has made appearances on TV, in programs such as Comedy Central Apresenta, The Noite, Domingo Legal and Eliana on SBT. Piadaria on Mix TV, Programa da Tarde, Tudo a Ver, Programa da Sabrina and the "Maratona do Humor" segment on Ana Hickman's Tudo É Possível program where he improvised and performed his stand-up material.
He released his first comedy special on YouTube, which reached over 500,000 views!
