Comedian, presenter, writer, cartoonist, reporter, advertising professional, actor, and businessman, Danilo is recognized as one of the pioneers and creators of the stand-up comedy movement in Brazil.

He is nationally known for being the host of the talk show, The Noite com o Danilo Gentili on SBT.

He is currently performing in "Stand-Up Raiz" with Diogo Portugal and Oscar Filho.
